The origin of the University of Technology (Mandalay) Library is (11.7.in 1995), it was the same place where the Government Industrial Science (Mandalay) School was first opened. Through this, on (20.8.1999) The Government College of Education (Mandalay) was expanded to the level of the Government College of Technology (Mandalay) and the Library also became the Government College of Technology (Mandalay). Then on (22.10.2002) the Government College of Education (Mandalay) was renamed as the University of Technology (Mandalay), Patheingyi Township, Aung Chan Thar Ward moved to and opened. When it was promoted from the College University Level to the University Library Level. Now, the University of Technology (Mandalay) Library is located at the back of the main building of the University of Technology (Mandalay).
